Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a sum equal to the initial wager. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
