Online poker has become world famous lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers acquire five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantaneously to the bank. After the bet is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with a sum equal to the original bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pony’s up cash equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
